High MCV and low Chloride can be caused by many reasons.

If your MCV is in between 83 fL and 101 fL and your Chloride is in between 98 mmol/L and 107 mmol/L then you need not worry as these are the normal ranges for MCV and Chloride respectively. But if your levels are lesser or greater than the above values, then there may be some problem in your body.
